Escalator System in Yasumoto International Academic Park and Wu Ho Man Yuen Building
To encourage walking on campus and to promote a healthy campus, the University has designed pedestrian trails as a green option to school buses for staff and students. A series of walking campaigns have also been launched since 2007.
This concept has also been incorporated in the design of the University's new teaching buildings. An escalator system has been installed, connecting the Yasumoto International Academic Park, Wu Ho Man Yuen Building and Chung Chi College Wen Chih Tang.
The escalator system has been officially approved by the government and has started operation in this academic year.
