Launching Ceremony for Cooperation Between The Genlin World Heritage Foundation & The Centre for Cultural Heritage Studies

香港中文大學人類學系文化遺產研究中心得到玄陵世界遺產基金會慷慨贊助,為前往香港境外文化遺產研究機構實習的同學提供財政資助。

作為玄陵世界遺產基金會和人類學系文化遺產研究中心的合作項目之一,基金會將會從2007年開始提供總數為十萬元港幣的贊助,為期三年,用於資助六至九名前往香港境外文化遺產研究機構實習的人類學本科生。
該次合作的目的是讓更多對文化遺產有興趣的同學可以前往海外實習,從而進一步推廣遺產保護理念,加強本學科的學術研究和交流。

簡單而隆重的贊助簽約儀式於五月十八日假新亞書院人文館四樓401室舉行。玄陵世界遺產基金會派出黃淑嫻副理事長、袁淦麟總經理和梁佩雯小姐三位代表出席,中大方面則由拓展及籌募處主任鄭文珊先生,人類學系系主任譚少薇教授和文化遺產研究中心主任張展鴻教授出席儀式。人類學系的數位教授,以及幾位今年暑期將會前往菲律賓、澳洲、內地等文化遺產研究機構實習的同學也參加了儀式,並與嘉賓們相談甚歡。

 


玄陵世界遺產基金會再次資助人類學系同學海外實習 (2009年10月22日)

玄陵世界遺產基金會自二零零七年起開始資助香港中文大學人類學系同學赴香港以外地區的文化遺產研究機構實習。今年又再次與人類學系文化遺產研究中心續約,慷慨捐助十萬港幣,繼續在未來三年支持人類學系同學赴海外實習。
續約儀式於二零零九年十月二十二日下午在香港灣仔鷹君中心的玄陵世界遺產基金會會議室舉行。玄陵世界遺產基金會黃淑嫻副理事長和行政幹事梁佩雯小姐,人類學系系主任張展鴻教授以及文化遺產研究中心主任呂烈丹教授和人類學系導師王丹凝老師參加了此次續約儀式,六名在2008和2009年分別接受了基金贊助的人類學系同學也一同出席。
黃淑嫻副理事長跟六名同學親切交談,認真聽取了他們在英國、菲律賓和日本實習的心得體會,稱贊他們所取得的成績,並鼓勵他們為保護文化遺產繼續努力。之後。黃淑嫻副理事長還跟與會的人類學系老師和同學就香港傳統文化的現狀和問題交換了若干想法和意見。最後儀式在輕鬆祥和的氣氛中結束。

Genlin World Heritage Foundation Continues its Support of Anthropology Students to do Internships outside Hong Kong (22 October 2009)

The Genlin World Heritage Foundation began to support students of the Anthropology Department to work as summer interns in cultural heritage institutions outside Hong Kong in 2007. This year, the Foundation extended a three-year-contract with the Center for Cultural Heritage Studies in the Anthropology Department, and donated HK$100,000 to support students' overseas internships over the next three years.

The ceremony for extending the contract was held at the meeting room of the Genlin World Heritage Foundation in Great Eagle Center, Wanchai, Hong Kong on 22nd October, 2009, and was hosted by Vice Chairperson Miss Leslie Wong and Executive Officer Miss Mandy Leung of the Foundation. Professor Sidney Cheung, chairman of the Anthropology Department, Professor Tracey Lu, director of the Center for Cultural Heritage Studies, and Dr. Danning Wang of the Anthropology Department attended the ceremony. In addition, six students of the Anthropology Department who received the Foundation sponsorship in the summer of 2008 or 2009 also attended.

Miss Leslie Wong talked to every student in order to know their experiences of internships in the U.K., the Philippines and Japan. She praised their achievements and encouraged them to make continuous contributions to the field of cultural heritage conservation. Miss Wong also shared some valuable ideas about the current situation of traditional culture in Hong Kong with professors and students. The ceremony ended in a harmonious and happy atmosphere.
