Announcement for Undergraduates' Course Selection in 2009-2010

(1) Final-year students should enroll in ANT3020 in the first term and ANT0321 in the second term; these courses make up a one-year field project,

(2) ANT2110 Anthropological Theory and ANT3630 Language, Symbols and Society are offered in 2009/2010 and will not be offered in 2010/2011. All 2nd-year and 3rd-year majors who plan to graduate in 2010 or 2011 must enroll in these two courses in 2009/2010.

(3) ANT1010 Humans and Culture and ANT2310 Gender and Culture will be taught in English in the first term and in Cantonese in the second term 2009/2010.

(4) New courses ANT2530 Political Violence and Human Rights and ANT4410 The Cultures of Cities are offered in 2009/2010.
