- Start Internet Explorer 6
- From the menu bar, click Tools -> Internet Options...

- From the Internet Options window, select Content tab and click Certificates...

- From the Certificates window, click Import... to invoke the Certificate Import Wizard.

- Click Next to continue.

- In the File name: input box, type the file location of your digital certificate, e.g. A:\digcert3.p12 and then click Next.

- In the Password: input box, type the password of your PKCS12 file and check the two options.

- Select the option: Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate. Press Next.

- Click Finish to complete the certificate import and continue to set the security level.

- Then, an Importing a new private exchange key window is prompted. Click Set Security Level...

- Recommend to set security level to High only if they need to share the PC with others. Then, click Next.

- When the security level set to high, you need to type a new password to protect this item. Then, click Finish.

- Now, the security level is set. Click OK.

- If the CUHK Root CA root certificate has not added yet, system will prompt you to do so. Click Yes to proceed.

- The system will notify you The import was successful. Click OK.

- A new certificate entry is shown. Click Close to complete the process.
