Vision

It is our vision to become the training ground of world-recognized leaders in genomic and proteomic biology, bioinformatics and a world leader in genomic medicine.

What we envision is a structure which will draw the useful components from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Beijing Genomic Institute to jointly nurture and train the much needed individuals, mainly at post-graduate level, with expertise in genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics. Graduates of this Institute will have solid theoretical training as well as practical experience in their field of study.
