Personal Development Activities

These activities aim to provide students with an opportunity to develop individual potential and cultivate various personal qualities.

With subsidies from the College, students are encouraged to join the Outward Bound Training Programme in summer as a form of self-challenge. Students can also sign up for the Learning Arts Programme to enjoy a subsidy for taking courses on visual arts, performing arts or integrated arts offered by recognized local institutions. The Service-Learning Programme organizes student groups to work with mainland or overseas educational institutions or social welfare agencies in the planning of social services programme. The College further establishes the Quality Activities Award Scheme to support student bodies in organizing large-scale extra-curricular activities. The Mentor Programme and the Overseas E-mentoring Programme jointly launched by the College and the College Alumni Association links up students with alumni through a mentor-mentee relationship that will benefit both. At the same time, the two Programmes can foster the cohesion among students, alumni and the College.
