TOPApplication for summer hostel residence 2013 is open for Chung Chi students from now to 12:00 noon of May 3, 2013. Details and application forms are available at the webpage of student hostels Committee (www.cuhk.edu.hk/ccc-committees/hostel/). Please hand in the printed form and the guarantee of $500 to Dean of Students’ Offices on or before 12:00 noon on May 3, 2013.

TOP1. Student Development Subsidy Scheme
To encourage students to participate in short-term, non credit-bearing, mainland and overseas activities, subsidies will be provided for all Chung Chi undergraduates under this Scheme. The activities should be organized or recognized by the College, Departments or the University.
Successful applicants will receive subsidy up to 30% of his/her budget (expenditure minus income from other sources) or HK$10,000, whichever the lower. Students should submit the application form and all supporting documents to the Dean of Students’ Office at least one month before the departure. The result will be announced in early February, June and October. Application forms are obtainable from the Dean of Students’ Office. 2. Invitation to Chung Chi students to apply for Pang Gin Nam, Cheung Pui Kam Memorial Awards 2013/2014
Two Pang Gin Nam, Cheung Pui Kam Memorial Awards 2013/2014 have been open for application. Each award is HK$12,000, one for Male and one for Female. Recipients should be Chung Chi undergraduates who have substantial financial needs and are not currently residing in student hostels, should demonstrate satisfactory academic performance and have services in the College, or have potential to make much contribution at the hostels.
Interested students please get a form from the Dean of Students' Office, Chung Chi College (1/F of Chung Chi Tang) or download the form from www.cuhk.edu.hk/ccc/awards/scholarships/ and hand in the completed form on or before April 26, 2013 (Friday). TOPWith the aim of encouraging students to pursue dreams, the College Creativity Awards Committee will run the “Dreaming Through Chung Chi” Scheme again this year. Interested students should each submit to the Committee a written proposal of not more than 2,000 words expressing his/her dream, together with a page of feasibility assessment, a budget plan and any other supplementary materials deemed necessary. The maximum amount of subsidy for each selected student will be 80% of the proposed budget or HK$20,000, whichever is lower.
Applications will be received all year round. The upcoming Committee meeting will be held in late June. For those students who would like their proposals to be considered in the next meeting, please submit the proposals by May 16, 2013 (Thursday). TOPChung Chi College Mentor Programme 2013/14 is now open for application from College students. Application forms are obtainable from the College Office on M/F., College Administration Building and the College Dean of Students’ Office.
College students of the non-graduating class of this academic year 2012/13 can apply for the programmes. Students are allowed to join this programme once during their undergraduate studies. Completed application forms should be returned to 2/F., Chung Chi College Administration Building on or before May 16, 2013 within office hours.
