Chung Chi College Staff Club takes the lead in offering dedicated services and superb facilities to our members. Members of the Club are entitled to an array of privileges, such as a waiver of the 10% service charge, an exclusive right of dining at the Clubhouse Chinese Restaurant during lunch hours on weekdays, and in the use of the well-equipped function rooms. From private functions and departmental / committee meetings to international conferences, the Club provides an ideal environment on campus to meet members' needs.

Members of the Club are also entitled to use the facilities in the Clubhouse and to participate in the activities of the Club.

The Club provides the following major facilities, activities and privileges:

Facilities:

Chung Chi College Staff Clubhouse / Chinese Restaurant
With a seating capacity of close to 300, the Restaurant provides a pleasant and relaxing environment for members to enjoy their lunch and dinner. Reservations may be made in advance. The Club always tries its best to ensure the caterer provides the members with the most impeccable services and culinary delights.

The Restaurant opens:
Monday to Friday
11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday (and Public holidays)
11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Function Rooms
There are 3 function rooms (Capacity: 12, 50 and 60 respectively) at the Clubhouse available for members' use. A booking fee in the range of $50 to $600 will be charged depending on the booking time. Bookings can be made by telephone, followed by sending the original forms to the College Office. All bookings will be confirmed 2 weeks prior to the specified date. Once the booking is confirmed, the fee is not refundable. Members booking the function rooms should abide by the rules, stipulated on the booking form, which are available at the Reception Counter of the Chung Chi College Staff Club. Orchid Lodge Clubhouse
To ensure our members can enjoy more fully facilities at the Orchid Lodge Clubhouse on 1/F of the Lodge, the opening hours of the Clubhouse would be extended with effective from mid May 2009.

Holders of the new membership cards could access the Clubhouse between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday (except for public holidays).

Light refreshment (Chinese tea) is provided; magazines and newspapers are available for members' enjoyment; and audio-visual facilities are also provided for members' use. The opening hours will be reviewed by the Executive Committee regularly to meet members' needs.

Activities:

Members enjoy a variety of social events, including in-house activities and outings arranged by the Social Activities Sub-Committee and Cultural Activities Sub-Committee, at subsidized charges. The former sub-committee organizes social activities such as hiking, picnics, as well as festival gatherings for members (such as Christmas Turkey Luncheon, Children Christmas Party, Chinese New Year Luncheon and Annual Dinner and Dance. The latter sub-committee organizes cultural activities for our members, such as Folk Dance Gathering, Social Dance Lessons, Ladies' Line Dance Lessons etc. Recent activities included Wine Tasting & Candle-lit Dinner, Chinese White Dolphin Watching, and Church Visits.

Privileges

Many of these are taken care of by our Welfare Sub-Committee.

Healthcare Services
Complementing the health services of the University, the healthcare services offered by the Club are to help our members receive regular comprehensive medical check-ups. The medical check-ups is available at various convenient locations at very privileged fees. Recent arrangements made between the Club and service provider outside is Dr. Vio & Partners. Apart from the healthcare services, are other privileges introduced from time to time, such as credit card promotions, dining privileges at local hotels, and banking services.
