Mission

To develop an excellent physical environment for the University in tone with its academic development strategies, catering to its current and projected facilities needs.

Responsibilities

To advise the University on all campus development matters; to put forth strategic plans for the University on its physical development, long term and short term, including land areas acquisition and buildable sites formation.

To help secure resources for the University's physical development, and to programme and monitor the latter, catering to the Universityˇ¦s demands on facilities needs.

To ensure a high quality of planning, programming, design and implementation of all construction works for the University; to administer and manage the processing of all capital, alterations, additions and improvement works in a most efficient and cost effective manner.

To implement and supervise all aspects of construction work; to provide where appropriate in-house architectural and building services design and technical support in an efficient and professional way to facilitate the execution of development project(s) / plan(s).

To liaise with the user(s), consultant(s) and contractor(s) on all matters relating to building development/ renovation programme(s).
