沿中央道一段建造行人路之斜坡工程

大學將會在中央道建造行人路。工地範圍將覆蓋一條行車道，於施工期間，路旁泊車位將會暫時封閉，以作行車用途。工程將於2009年5月12日動工，預期需時五個月。工作時間為星期一至六，每日早上八時至下午六時，公眾假期除外。

工程主要包括石坡開挖；安裝石釘、 疏水管、鐵網；清除鬆脫碎石；建造扶壁、地面排水管及美化工程。工地範圍會加設圍板，以保護途經該處的人士和各道路使用者，詳細位置請參考下面位置圖。

SLOPE FORMATION AND STABILIZATION WORKS FOR FORMING A PEDESTRIAN PAVEMENT ALONG CENTRAL AVENUE

The construction works for forming a pedestrian pavement along the Central Avenue will be commenced on 12th May 2009 and expected to be completed in 5 months. The work site will take up the driveway and the existing roadside parking will be temporarily closed during the construction period. The working hours are 8:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. from Monday to Saturday, except public holidays.

It mainly involves rock slope excavation, installation of rock dowels, raking drains, wire meshing, rock scaling, construction of buttress walls and surface drainage, as well as landscape.  To protect the road users, safety fencing and hoarding will be erected along the site boundary as shown in the location plan below.
