沿中央道一段建造行人路之斜坡工程

大學將會在中央道建造行人路。工地範圍將覆蓋一條行車道，於施工期間，路旁泊車位將會暫時封閉，以作行車用途。工程在2009年5月12日動工，已於2009年10月29日完成。

工程主要包括石坡開挖；安裝石釘、 疏水管、鐵網；清除鬆脫碎石；建造扶壁、地面排水管及美化工程。工地範圍會加設圍板，以保護途經該處的人士和各道路使用者，詳細位置請參考下面位置圖。

SLOPE FORMATION AND STABILIZATION WORKS FOR FORMING A PEDESTRIAN PAVEMENT ALONG CENTRAL AVENUE

The construction works for forming a pedestrian pavement along the Central Avenue were commenced on 12th May 2009 and completed on 29th October 2009. The work site will take up the driveway and the existing roadside parking will be temporarily closed during the construction period.

It mainly involves rock slope excavation, installation of rock dowels, raking drains, wire meshing, rock scaling, construction of buttress walls and surface drainage, as well as landscape.  To protect the road users, safety fencing and hoarding will be erected along the site boundary as shown in the location plan below.
