政府污水泵房設施改善工程

為配合大學發展，政府渠務署將為位於一號橋附近的政府污水泵房進行設施改善工程。工程會分兩個階段進行，第一階段由2009年9月至12月，而第二階段則由2010年2月至2013年12月。

雖然工程進行地點位處於校園範圍外，工程車輛將需要使用大學東閘及一段環迴東路和車站路進入工地。整項工程期間，大學將密切聯繫渠務署，以減低對附近用戶和道路使用者的影響。有關工程車路線請參考以下位置圖。

UPGRADING WORKS OF GOVERNMENT SEWERAGE PUMPING STATION AND MAIN PIPE BY DRAINAGE SERVICES DEPARTMENT

The government sewerage pumping station for the University at the Bridge No. 1 is to be upgraded to cater for the increasing building development of the University. The construction work will be carried out by the Drainage Services Department in two phases. Phase 1 is from September 2009 to December 2009, while Phase 2 is from February 2010 to December 2013.

Although the works are all outside the University boundary, construction vehicular access via the campus Eastern Gate as marked on the location map below. During the construction period, close liaison with Drainage Services Department will be made to minimize disturbance and nuisance caused to nearby occupants and road users.
