To maintain a safe environment for the University community, stability improvement works will be carried out for the captioned feature locating in the vicinity of Pond Crescent near KCRC Station. Relevant site works are expected to be commenced in mid 2006 and completed in December 2006.



For the conservation of the existing greenery in the works area, the consultant proposed to preserve 77 trees in the design. Subject to the approval of tree felling and compensatory planting proposal by the District Lands Office, 35 trees will be moved and 67 trees with some shrubs be planted.




斜坡編號7NE-C/C126的鞏固及改善工程

為確保校園內斜坡安全，大學將會為一幅位於池旁路和鄰近火車站的斜坡進行鞏固及改善工程，計劃在2006年中動工，並於同年底完成。



為了保留原有之綠化元素，工程顧問建議保留77棵樹，使綠化納入工程計劃中。工程建造期間有35棵樹木需要清理，同時將種植67棵樹及一些園藝植物，而所有清理及重新種植計劃均會經地政處審核及批准。
