This course provides a broad survey of international relations across the Asian landmass touching upon strategic, security, diplomatic and economic relations. It will also discuss other critical issues on the contemporary agenda of Asian relations, such as nuclear nonproliferation, globalization, human rights and regional conflicts. Putting emphasis on theoretical issues, this course will encourage students to apply theories to analyze current development in Asian relations.
