China is an ancient civilization endowed with plenty national wonders, spectacular landscapes and cultural heritage sites, which are the historical records of China's protracted tortuous development. This course introduces students to some of salient historical events, natural and man-made wonders, set in the context of China's historical and contemporary development. (Not for Geography and Resource Management Majors and students who have taken GES2050.)
