Research Interests

  • Development of new testing methodologies for authenticity of Chinese Materia Medica
  • Detection and characterization of toxic substances by various instrumental analysis techniques

Dr. Sze has more than 10 years managerial experience in chemical testing laboratories for environmental samples, food and consumer products. He has also worked in the Hong Kong Accreditation Service (HKAS) as senior accreditation officer and assisted in developing various new testing and certification services.

Dr. Sze is familiar with a wide range of management systems for laboratories and certification bodies. He has also interested in developing new testing methodologies for authenticity of Chinese Materia Medica, and detection and characterization of toxic substances by various instrumental analysis techniques.
