  Postgraduate students of all disciplines who would be developing Intellectual Properties in the course of their research.

Objectives
  Introduce to postgraduate students the various aspects of Intellectual Property rights and the means of protection of such IPR.

Structure
  1.5 hours seminar

Brief Description
  Over the years, CUHK faculty members and students have developed research results that can be protected by various means. Students may not realize the “what” and “how to” in the protection of the Intellectual Property rights of their own research results. This course will provide information in the above area and provide guidelines to students on patents, licenses and means of commercializing their research work.
