Smart Assessment (3): Enabling peer assessment as peer learning

Facilitators: Dr Paula HODGSON (CLEAR)

Detail: Peer assessment can be used as a means of gauging a standard of performance with students participating in making judgement on their peers. While it is essential to facilitate students to develop evaluative skills in the process, can we redesign it for peer learning? In the workshop, we will discuss a variety:

  • peer assessment through ‘Two Stars One Wish’,
  • peer assessment with peer group questions and comments,
  • peer assessment through using rubrics,
  • peer assessment through uReply, and
  • peer assessment with team members.
