Abstract: Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have opened unprecedented opportunities for global learners to learn from quality courses offered through popular platform like edX, Coursera and Futurelearn. These learners can learn from the structured materials provided in their own time. Dr Kajimoto from the University of Hong Kong has built a MOOC, 'Making Sense of News', and has received high review ratings by participants. In this seminar, he will share his experience of the concept of creating a MOOC, the process of production and his consecutive offering experiences. Dr Paula Hodgson will share her findings of interactions between these global learners through the two rounds of offering in the forum discussion.
