Facilitators: Dr Paula Hodgson (CLEAR)
Agnes Fong (ELITE)

Detail: E-learning is a teaching strategy that can be adopted to both enable and facilitate student learning in outcome-based education. You can consider what e-learning activities will engage students with prior knowledge and why and how these learning tasks can best be blended into in-class activities to help your students to understand. According to Bloom’s taxonomy, various types of e-learning tasks can be built in before, during or after class for blended learning, you can plan when tasks with different levels of complexity should be set during the course. This workshop will allow you to reflect on current disciplinary pedagogies while considering selecting appropriate technologies to construct varieties of learning activity to build higher-order thinking skills in class. More importantly, you will find out more about the process of managing an e-learning project, resource allocation, copyright and ways to formulate sustainable e-learning project development.
