“Introduction to Assessment Validation and Calibration – Assessment and Rubrics”

Description: The series of workshop and consultation sessions are organized by Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research. All CUHK teaching staff, TAs and teaching support staff are welcomed for registration.

The workshop series scheduled to take place from April 8 to 10 2019 consists of both workshops and consultation sessions, to be delivered by Dr Sara Booth, Strategic Advisor-Quality External, University of Tasmania cum Director-Academic at Online Peer Solutions. The workshops are intended to enhance our understanding of focused areas of implementing criterion-referenced assessment in our courses.

Speaker: Dr Sara Booth, Strategic Advisor-Quality External, University of Tasmania cum Director-Academic at Online Peer Solutions. Dr Booth has international expertise in quality reviews for higher education institutions, including curriculum review, peer review of the assessment, professional accreditation and benchmarking to meet TEQSA or other regulatory requirements. Dr Booth has worked with 80 higher education institutions across the globe, providing professional development workshops and resources to support, connect and advance quality assurance across the higher education sector which includes policy development and implementation.
