Internationalisation of the Curriculum: principles and practice

Description: The workshop will begin with some background to internationalisation of the curriculum, looking at definitions and principles of IoC and considering some of the myths associated with it. We will give examples of how it has been introduced in different countries, what has worked, and how those ideas may be adapted in terms of course design, learning outcomes, teaching, learning and assessment. The workshop will conclude with consideration of next steps and how discussions in the workshop can be carried forward into the classroom and beyond.
