Detail: Students expect to be spoon fed model answers

The Hong Kong school system conditions students to believe that teaching is a process of supplying model answers, which students commit to memory to regurgitate in exams. This seminar will examine ways in which these beliefs can be changed through gradual exposure to forms of learning more compatible with university study.

Date: 15 May 2006 (Mon)
Time: 12:30pm - 1:30pm
