Advances in information and communication technology (ICT), especially the rapid developments in social technology such as wikis, blogs, social bookmarking, etc. have opened up new opportunities and challenges to higher education. This workshop will introduce recent developments in learning technology and how these have been applied in different educational contexts internationally and locally. Emphasis in the seminar will be placed on contemporary developments that make use of Web 2.0 technology, digital media, and mobile learning.
