Project Objectives

The project is to encourage teachers to move forward from the basic use of eLearning towards developing more sophisticated or more complete eLearning environments for their students.

Key deliverables expected and timelines for completion

Courseware Development Grant Scheme (CDGS) grant recipients should complete the project and put the developed electronic courseware or environments on the web for access by students within 12 months of the commencement date of the project. A short evaluation report will be prepared at the end of each project.

Arrangements for evaluation of project deliverables/outcomes

Academic IT Steering Committee (AITSC) will carry out a meta-analysis of all completed and near-completed CDGS projects in order to report to the University’s Senate Committee on Teaching and Learning on the outcome and effectiveness of the scheme.

Means for disseminating project deliverables/outcomes

CDGS grant recipients may showcase the developed website to members of the University and take part in experience-sharing sessions.
