李宇明教授簡歷

李宇明，河南泌陽人。1984年碩士研究生畢業留華中師範大學任教。1996年任華中師範大學文學院院長，1998年擔任華中師範大學副校長。2000年至今任國家語委副主任、教育部語言文字資訊管理司司長、中國語言學會常務理事。李教授曾獲多個光榮稱號，1996年獲評為湖北省勞動模範，1997年獲「全國五一勞動獎章」。

李教授的研究領域涵蓋現代漢語語法學、心理語言學、應用語言學、兒童語言學和語言規劃。現已出版《兒童語言的發展》、《理論語言學教程》（主編）、《漢族兒童問句系統習得探微》、《語言的理解與發生》、《漢語量範疇研究》、《語法研究錄》、《語言學習與教育》、《中國語言規劃論》等著作十餘部，發表論文三百餘篇。他的專著《漢族兒童問句系統習得探微》獲「全國高等學校首屆人文社會科學研究優秀成果獎」二等獎，《漢語量範疇研究》獲「全國高等學校第三屆人文社會科學研究優秀成果獎」二等獎。他主編的《聾兒語言康復教程》獲中國殘疾人聯合會、中宣部出版局等五家單位聯合舉辦的全國首屆「奮發文明進步圖書獎」二等獎。

李教授主持過多個研究專案。2001至2007年擔任《語言文字應用》雜誌主編，2005至2008年主持了《中國語言生活狀況報告》項目。2001至2007年兼任教育部語言文字應用研究所所長和中國社會科學院研究生院語用系主任。

Biography of Professor Li Yuming

Professor Li Yuming is from Miyang County in Henan province of China. He taught in the Central Normal University for 15 years, where he also received an MA in Chinese Linguistics in 1984. He served as the Dean of Faculty of Arts from 1996 to 1998, and as the Vice-President of the university from 1998 to 2000. Since then he has served as the Vice-Chairman of the State Language Commission in PRC, and the Director-General of the Department of Language Information Administration in the Ministry of Education of PRC. He was awarded many personal titles by both provincial and federal governments.

Professor Li is a distinguished scholar in the fields of child language acquisition and language planning. His research fields also cover modern Chinese grammar, psycholinguistics and applied linguistics. He has published over 10 books and 300 journal articles. Many of his works have won prestigious awards, including Acquisition of Interrogative Systems by Chinese-speaking Children, Study of Chinese Measure Categories, as well as the work he edited Language Recovery Courses for Deaf Children.

Professor Li has undertaken a number of national research projects. He was the chief editor of the Journal of Applied Linguistics from 2001 to 2007, and in charge of the publication of a series entitled Report of Language Situation Across China from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, he has served as the director of the Applied Linguistics Institute in the Ministry of Education, and the chairman of the Applied Linguistics Department in the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences from 2001 to 2007.
