Bishop Joseph Zen Ze-Kiun, the bishop of Hong Kong diocese, is to be elevated to the rank of cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI at a ceremony in Rome on March 25, 2006, the feast of the Annunication. Pope Benedict XVI announced the news on February 22. The Centre for Catholic Studies sends our heartfelt congratulations to Bishop Zen.
