Welcome to the December edition of our eLearning newsletter!

The newsletter is sent to all academic staff (all ranks; full-time and part-time) according to information provided by the Human Resources Office by email regularly. With the feedback received, this newsletter is sent additionally to all users in 2018-19 Blackboard courses with course instructor role and TA / Support Staff role.

Please help to share the information with staff/student TAs and colleagues with teaching support duties of your unit.

2015-16 and 2016-17 Blackboard Courses
 

Teachers may make available 2015-16 and 2016-17 Blackboard course content to students again on the new Blackboard system
 
  • 2015-16 and 2016-17 Blackboard course content was previously made unavailable to all students at the system level to avoid confusion when these courses were being migrated from the old Blackboard system to the new Blackboard system. The migration has been completed.
  • Teachers may make available the content to students again after validating the course content and the student enrollment in the respective Blackboard courses.
  • Teachers are reminded to communicate whether they intend to close the Blackboard course immediately after the academic term/year (or up to four years) at the beginning of the course.
