After participating in this years language Summer School at the above Service, I left England and arrived in Hong Kong in order to seek work as an English teacher and gain further experience with a prolonged period of teaching abroad.

--Chris is polite. Even if he hasn't mentioned the word "interviews", his last sentence "I would therefore......from you soon." serves the same purpose. Evaluating the three ending paragraphs, Alan and Chris have done a better job than Betty.
