ELTU 1107 English Improvement Strategies for Listening and Speaking
Unit: 3
This course is designed for students who want to improve their general abilities in listening and speaking in English. Specifically, it will focus on strategies aimed at solving language problems, as well as encouraging students to be responsible for managing their own language learning. Course work will include group discussions, presentations, role-plays, pair work, and diagnostic assessments, as well as practice activities to develop listening and speaking skills to be done in class, and independently in the Independent Learning Centre (ILC). This course is particularly suitable for students in their first year of attendance.
