COURSE DESCRIPTION

2009 - 2010

General Course Description

This course is designed to help you to improve your general abilities in reading and writing in English. Specifically, it focuses on strategies aimed at language improvement in relation to study purposes as well as encouraging students to be responsible for managing their own language learning. Course work includes reading and writing assignments, group/individual projects, as well as practice activities to be done independently outside of class. This course is particularly suitable for students in their first year of attendance.
