กฐ Introduction
Our Landscaping Section is fully devoted on tree preservation issues. Landscaping Section has already set up a data base for trees on our campus. The data base included the tree species, locations, and their health condition for detailed follow up and preservation. Expertise and Consultants from United States, and PRC have been invited to conduct Seminar / Workshops and demonstrated the works in tree preservation since November 2008.
In December, 2008 CUHK has organized an International Conference on tree preservation. Expertises from China, Taiwan, Macau, and HKSAR are joined in hands for sharing their experiences and views on trees preservations. The conference is very successful with remarkable technical and experiences sharing both in skills and management on tree preservations. This is a first conference regarding trees preservation to be held in HKSAR.
70% of our campus area are occupied by green vegetations, EMO is keen on maintaining our campus environmental friendly with great sustainability for all our stakeholders and visitors.
