Profile

While at Yale, Allyson served on the coordinating board of the Yale Women's Center, as a member of the Human Subjects Committee, and as a Peer Health Educator, teaching workshops on a variety of health-related topics to incoming Yale students. She led an umbrella group dedicated to student health and safety on campus, and worked with the Branford College Seminar Committee, helping to select outside instructors for Yale seminar courses. In the summer of 2005, she volunteered in rural Ghana with an NGO focused on reproductive health and English literacy, and in the spring of 2007, studied at the University of Hyderabad in India. Allyson is excited to make her first trip to East Asia, to delve into Cantonese culture, and to share her passion for learning with CUHK students.
