This Bachelor of Science (Food and Nutritional Sciences) degree programme is a three-year course designed to provide specialized training in various aspects of the food and nutritional sciences including food product development and quality control, food processing technology, food safety, food service systems, dietetics and nutritional science, combined with an understanding of the sociological, psychological and economic factors that affect peopleˇ¦s food habits. |

| It also prepares graduates with a high level of competence in scientific and technical issues in Food and Nutritional Sciences, for eventual employment in the industrial and commercial sectors, in government and private health services, and in public service and food service organizations. A strong research base is provided for interested students who wish to pursue postgraduate study.
