JUPAS applicants taking HKDSE must have obtained the following requirements:
(1) Level 3 or above in Mathematics, Liberal Studies
and any one subject; AND
(2) Level 5 or above in English Language and Chinese
Language; AND
(3) a minimum TOEFL score at 100 (internet) or a
minimum IELTS score at 7.0* or native speaker documentation.
JUPAS applicants taking HKALE must have obtained the following requirements:
(1) in one sitting of the HKCEE, grade E or above in at least seven subjects, with good grades in any two language subjects (Chinese Language and English Language are preferred) and Mathematics / Additional Mathematics, AND
(2) in one sitting of the HKALE**, grade E or above in 2AL subjects or 1AL and 2AS subjects, AND grade C or above in AS Chinese Language & Culture and AS Use of English (OR Level 4 or above in HKCEE Chinese Language and English Language);
AND
(3) a minimum TOEFL score at 100 (internet) or a
minimum IELTS score at 7.0* or native speaker documentation.
For non-JUPAS applicants, their applications will be considered case by case, provided that they have obtained a minimum TOEFL score at 600 (paper) / 250 (computer) / 100 (internet) or a minimum IELTS score at 7.0* or native speaker documentation.
Non-JUPAS applicants are strongly encouraged to apply for the 3-year
curriculum in 2012 entry.
* Applicants should have attained the required TOEFL or IELTS standard before interview.
** For applicants who take HKALE in their secondary 6 and 7, the results of both sittings will be considered.
