Introduction
GLOBE is a pioneer in business
education at the undergraduate level in Hong Kong and also in the
international education arena. It gives students exposure
to different
cultural settings and develops their global mindset through a
comprehensive and internationally oriented curriculum.
GLOBE is a collaboration between The Chinese University of Hong Kong
(CUHK), Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and The University of North
Carolina ¡V Chapel Hill (UNC). Every year, forty-five students from the
three top-ranked business schools will study together as one cohort in
three locations across the world: Denmark, Hong Kong and the USA. Their
class-based learning is further reinforced by study trips to Europe, Asia
and the USA. Attending executive briefings at select organizations enables
students to get first hand perspectives from those working in a global
marketplace. That way, students
can learn how different corporations adapt
to the global environment and how cultural differences influence business
operations.
The unparalleled learning experience provided by GLOBE equips students
with not only professional knowledge but also a strong global business
sense to rise
to challenges of a dynamic globalized world economy.
The Chinese University of Hong Kong accepts applications to GLOBE through
its Global Business Studies (4214), starting from 2005-2006.
