[9th Jan 2009] GBS Team Won the Championship of Joint University Business Management Challenge 2008

A team of six Global Business Studies (GBS) Year-3 students won the Championship in the Joint University Business Management Challenge (JUBMC) 2008. JUBMC was a business case competition which focused on real life managerial problems. It aimed at enhancing participants’ understanding of the real business world and promoting team spirit. Six out of 122 teams were selected to go to the final round. The finalists were required to give an oral presentation. Giving their outstanding performance, the GBS team beat other teams and won the competition. Ruby Chik, one of the team members, also won the “Best Presenter” Award. Congratulations!
