Applicants should have
obtained a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university normally with honours not lower than Second Class; or
graduated from an honours programme of a recognized university with a Bachelor’s degree, normally achieving an average grade of not lower than “B” in undergraduate courses; or
completed a course of study in a tertiary educational institution and obtained a professional or similar qualification equivalent to an honours degree.
relevant education background and working experience is an advantage but not a requirement.

Before the launch of on-line application, application forms are available in the Graduate School at 4/F, Academic Building No. 1, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, N.T.
Supporting documents required include:
Completed Application Form (not required if already submitted online application)
Receipt of application fee (not required if already paid by credit card through online application)
Official transcripts of all tertiary level studies (Note 1 & 2)
Copies of certificates of academic qualifications
Documents showing the applicant has fulfilled the Graduate School’s English Language Proficiency Requirement
Confidential recommendations from 2 referees (Note 3)
Copies of HKID card or other identity document as given in the Application Form;

Applicants with degrees awarded by overseas universities by distance learning or by completing a curriculum of short duration may be required to provide assessment report from The Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) on the level of qualification obtained.
Official transcripts must be sent to the Programme directly from the university. CUHK students (Bachelor’s or higher degrees) are allowed to submit photocopies of their transcripts.
Confidential recommendations must reach the Programme directly from the referees.
