Chan Man-hung got his BA and M.Phil degrees in the History Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 1980, he began his PhD studies in Japan and in 1989, he received his PhD degree from the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Chan is a leading figure in the local publication industry. He has been the General Manager and Chief Editor of the Commercial Press (Hong Kong) Ltd. He is currently the Chief Executive of the Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Limited.
