Steven K. Luk, B.A. (CUHK), Ph.D. (Harvard). Foreign Research Associate of Toyobunka Kenkyujo of Tokyo University (1977-78)

Dr. Luk is currently the Director of the Chinese University Press. He has had a diversified career in both the business and the academic world. He worked in the Association of Research Libraries in Washington D.C. on Chinese research materials, taught modern history, and, worked as a banker in New York for ten years before returning to Hong Kong in 1991. He was the Deputy General Manager and Deputy Chief Editor of the Commercial Press (H.K.) Ltd. prior to joining the Chinese University Press in 1998.
