The
Centre for Comparative and Public History was formally
established in 2002 by the Department of History to
facilitate further development of these two areas of
historical studies.
The Centre organizes a series of lectures, seminars, and conferences in these
two areas in addition to research projects conducted members. In addition to academi activities, the Centre has collaborated with the Education and Manpower Bureau to provide serving secondary school teachers with training workshops and learning and teaching materials.
