Study Scheme

With a flexible curriculum and evening classes, students can tailor their course schedules according to their personal interest and work arrangement. Aside from the core class, students may select any three elective courses to complete their course of study. Courses to be offered in 2008-2009 are as follows:

HIS4405 Museum Studies: Culture, Interpretation and Communication
HIS4406 Public Archaeology: Social, economical and cultural values of archaeological activity
HIS5507* Patterns in Urban History and Development
HIS5515* Special Topics in Public History (Archaeology)
HIS5559* Antiquities and Monuments in Hong Kong

*Students can choose up to two HIS5000-level courses with consent from the course instructors.

 

Remarks:

Any student who receives a non-passing final grade of "F" in a course will not receive credit towards graduation for such course unless and until he or she successfully retakes said course or another one with an additional cost.
