Students are required to complete a minimum of 66 units of courses as follows:

Students are required to select and complete 51 units of History courses in addition to the required courses listed in (1) above. To organize individual study scheme in accordance with personal interest and career orientation, they may select History courses according to Concentration Modules as explained below. If they decide not to follow any of the five Concentration Modules, they still need to fulfil this requirement of 51 units. |

History Major students taking the commonly recognized courses in fulfilling the History Major requirement should declare their interests of towards which course(s) to be counted at their final year of attendance. |

Units counted towards the fulfilment of History Major requirements should not be counted towards the fulfilment of the requirements of Minor Programmes in History, Cultural Heritage Studies, or Anthropology, and vice versa. |

Student should take ELT2408 as a substitute course for HIS2101, CHI1640 as a substitute course for HIS2101, and ELT2418 as a substitute course for HIS2403. The three courses will not be counted towards Major GPA for honours classification but remains part of the required 66 Major units. |
