The Gender Research Programme administered scholarships totalling HK$ 42,457 offered by the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia
to CUHK students who conducted research projects on gender studies. In 1998-1999, seven postgraduates and two undergraduates received the scholarships.
Scholarship recipients were requested to provide a written report of around 2,000 words and to give an oral presentation for the Gender Research
Programme on the completion of their research project.
