The Joint Universities Computer Centre (JUCC), the manager of 
the .hk top-level domain and the current administrator of HKNIC, 
levies a nominal administration fee to recover the 
administration cost of the domain name registration service.  
The current fee schedule is as follows:

        New registration of domain name         HK$200
        Modification of existing domain name    HK$200
        Deletion of domain name                 Free

An invoice will be sent to the Billing Contact (or Administrative 
Contact if the Billing Contact does not exist) when the request is 
implemented.  Payment is due upon presentation of invoice.  If 
payment is not received within 30 days of the posting of the invoice, 
the domain name will be removed without further notice.

All fees are non-refundable, in whole or in part, even if your 
domain name registration is suspended, cancelled or transferred.  
HKNIC has absolute right to change fees or to institute new fees 
at any time for any reason.

The party requesting registration of this name certifies that, to 
her/his knowledge, the use of this name does not violate 
trademark or other statutes or third party's rights.

Registering a domain name does not confer any legal rights to 
that name.  The applicant fully understands that the registration 
and use of the domain name will not confer immunity from 
objection to either the registration or use of the domain name. 
In case of a dispute as to the rights to a particular domain name, 
HKNIC shall have no role or responsibility other than to provide 
the contact information to the contending parties.  (See RFC 1591)

By applying for the Domain Name and through the use or continued 
use of the domain name, the applicant agrees to be bound by 
this Agreement as well as any additional rules or policies that are 
published or introduced by HKNIC from time to time.  In particular, 
the applicant acknowledges that he/she has read, understood and agree 
to be bound by all the terms and conditions of HKNIC's then current 
Domain Dispute Resolution Policy Statement (the 'Policy Statement') 
which is available at 
ftp://ftp.hknic.net.hk/pub/netinfo/hknic-domain-policy.  (If 
this application is made through an agent, such as an Internet 
service provider, that agent accepts the responsibility to notify 
the applicant of the conditions on the registration of the Domain 
Name and to provide the applicant a copy of the current version 
of the Policy Statement.)  The applicant acknowledges and agrees that 
HKNIC may change the terms and conditions of the Policy Statement 
from time to time.

The applicant agrees that if the use of the Domain Name is 
challenged by any third party, or if any dispute arises under 
this Agreement, as amended, the applicant will abide by 
the procedures specified in the Policy Statement

The applicant agrees and acknowledges that HKNIC may make available 
information he/she provides or that HKNIC otherwise maintain to such 
public or private third parties as applicable laws require or permit.  
The applicant further consents to HKNIC disclosing his/her details, 
including but not limited to the applicant's name, 
the administrative contact and the technical contact's particulars 
during or after the expiry of the registration of a domain name.  
The applicant hereby irrevocably waives any and all claims and causes 
of action he/she may have against HKNIC arising from such disclosure 
or use of information provided.

This Agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with 
the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the parties 
hereto hereby irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of 
the courts of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.  This Agreement, 
the Policy Statement as well as any additional rules and policies, 
together with all amendments or modifications thereto 
from time to time, constitute the complete and exclusive agreement 
between the applicant and HKNIC and supersedes all previous agreements 
whether parol or in writing express or implied between the two parties.

The applicant agrees and accepts that HKNIC can, at its absolute 
discretion, amend or modify this Agreement, the Policy Statement 
as well as any additional rules and policies from time to time.  
The continued registration of the domain name or the use of any 
service provided by HKNIC in respect thereof after any amendment or 
modification to this Agreement, the Policy Statement as well as any 
additional rules and policies shall constitute the applicant's 
acceptance of those amendments or modifications.  If the applicant 
does not agree to any of such amendments or modifications, he/she may 
request that his/her domain name registration be cancelled.  Such 
cancellation will be the applicant's exclusive remedy.  In such event, 
no refund, in whole or in part, will be provided to the applicant.  
No provision of this Agreement, the Policy Statement as well as 
any additional rules and policies can be amended by the applicant 
except with the written consent of HKNIC, which consent can be given 
or not at the absolute discretion of HKNIC.
