Research Focus

We believe that Chinese medicine and modern medicine are complementary to each other. We focus our research on difficult areas that do not yet have effective or optimal solution in modern medicine. There are currently over 40 clinical trial projects underway or being planned.

In 2001, the project "Chinese Medicine Researech and Further Development", led by the Institute of Chinese Medicine, was selected as an "Area of Excellence" by the University Grants Committee and received an award of HK$25 mmillion to develop 5 priority projects.
