______ FRIENDS OF THE ART MUSEUM ______ The Friends of the Art Museum, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Limited was founded by a small group of art enthusiasts in 1981 to promote the activities of the Art Museum and the appreciation of Chinese art and culture. In addition to organizing a progrmmed of lectures, study groups, docent training and exhibition tours, the Friends provides the Art Museum with funds to build its permanent collection, as well as scholarships for students in the fields of art and art history.
