IPMBAB is led by Prof. Samuel Sai-Ming Sun (Director, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, plant biotechnology) with core members of different expertise, including Prof. Hon-Ming Lam (Deputy Director, plant molecular biology), Prof. Ming-Chiu Fung (biosafety and bioactivity), Prof. Dianjian Guo (metabolomics), Prof. Liwen Jiang (plant cell biology), Prof. Sai-Ming Ngai (proteonomics), and Prof. Yum-Shing Wong (phytochemistry). The core group is expanding to include new members of relevant expertise with excellent research track records.
本研究所由辛世文講座教授帶領（所長；中國工程院士；農業生物技術），與其他不同專長的核心成員，包括林漢明教授（副所長；植物分子生物學）、馮明釗教授（生物安全及生物活性）、部殿京教授（代謝組學）、姜里文教授（植物細胞學）、倪世明教授（蛋白質組學）及黃蔭成教授（植物生化學）組成。核心組正繼續擴充，吸納具備相關專長而研究往績卓越的新成員，以壯大團隊。
