Forefather of Chinese Market Economy Theories Speaks on China's Growth at CUHK

Prof. Wu Jinglian, senior research fellow at the Development Research Centre of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, delivered a lecture at The Chinese University on 16th March, titled 'Transformation of the Growth Pattern and China's Industrialization'. The lecture attracted an audience of over 200, including staff and students of the University.

Topping-out Ceremony of CUHK-TWGHs Community College

The topping-out ceremony of the Ma Kam Chan Memorial Building, the main building of the Community College established by The Chinese University and the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) took place on 21st March. Officiating at the ceremony were The Hon. Prof. Arthur K.C. Li, Secretary for Education and Manpower of the HKSAR, Mr. Eddie Wang, TWGHs chairman, Prof. Kenneth Young (photo), acting vice-chancellor, CUHK, and Prof. Richard M.W. Ho, president of the CUHKDTWGHs Community College.
