Helpdesk Support (User Support Division)
Job Description:
- To manage computer facilities in ITSC computer laboratories
- To answer ITSC Hotline enquiries
- To provide consultation services to users working computer laboratory (User Area) including the use of computing accounts, Internet access, general software application etc
Essential Requirements:
- Fluent
spoken Cantonese and English, knowledge
of Putonghua will be an advantage
- Proficiency in operating Microsoft Windows (E.g. 7/ Vista/ XP/ etc.), and Office applications
- Being
a good team-player, enjoy meeting with
people and working as a team
- Keen learner, interested in trying out new computer technology
Preferrable Requirements:
- Knowledge on non-Windows operating systems such as Mac OS X
- Knowledge on using discipline-specific applications such as programming language and data analysis software packages, e.g. Java or SPSS, Adobe CS5.
- Experience in helpdesk operations
- Experience in troubleshooting/customer service through telephone hotline
Period of Service:
- September 2011 - May 2012
- Mon-Fri (max. 17 hours per week)
- May be extended subject to mutual agreement
Number of Vacancies : 10
Salary: HK$50/hour
