CUHK has a site license programme, CKC 2002 Traditional Chinese version, which is applicable for Traditional Chinese Windows (98/ME/2000/XP) and Windows XP platforms. Besides the microcomputers owned by the University, the license also extends to the personal computers of University staff and students. Each staff member and student of the University, owned a valid CU Link card, is entitled to one CKC 2002 Traditonal Chinese version license for a computer at home, hostel or residence.

University staff and students should carefully read the following terms and conditions before downloading the software.
- CKC 2002 downloaded from this site
can be used for campus computers and
home computers.
- Staff and students are allowed to download,
install, and use CKC 2002 to computers
in University campus and computers at
home.
- You promise to provide accurate registration information.
- The University has the option to terminate
your usage of the downloaded CKC2002
if you fail to comply with the terms
and conditions of this agreement.
The download can only be made through a University Network Connection. For example, campus network, ITSC dialup lines, ClassNet and ResNet. If you are now using a non-CUHK network connection (e.g. through a broadband service), please set up a VPN connection over your ISP network before the download. Before the installation, you should back up all their data files in other media like CD-R so that you will be able to retrieve back your data files after corruption (if any) .
